About

Independent UK workplace noise specialists

Workplace Noise Surveys delivers workplace noise surveys, personal noise dosimetry and occupational noise exposure assessments to UK employers working under the Control of Noise at Work Regulations 2005. We support manufacturing, engineering, warehousing, construction and facilities operators with defensible, documented noise exposure data and practical hearing-conservation guidance.

What we do

Our occupational noise programme combines representative personal dosimetry, area sound-level surveys and machine-source measurement using Class 1 instrumentation. Reports map each role's daily personal noise exposure (LEX,8h) against the lower (80 dB) and upper (85 dB) exposure action values and the 87 dB exposure limit value, and recommend proportionate engineering, administrative and PPE controls.

Who we work with

We support SHEQ managers, occupational hygienists, facilities operators and consultants across UK manufacturing, engineering workshops, warehousing, logistics, construction, recycling, plant rooms and production environments.

Part of the Green Air Monitoring network

Workplace Noise Surveys is operated as part of the Green Air Monitoring occupational hygiene network, which provides associated services in air quality, ventilation, LEV and broader workplace exposure monitoring.
