What it is
A service portfolio, not a single service
Workplace noise problems come in many shapes — a regulatory compliance survey, a specific machine investigation, a dosimetry programme for mobile workers, a boundary BS 4142 question, a hearing conservation programme. This page maps the full portfolio so you can pick the right service.
For specialist ongoing input, see workplace noise consultants. For cost factors, see workplace noise survey cost.

FAQ
Noise survey services — frequently asked questions
What is the noise survey services page?+
It is the service-portfolio hub for our UK workplace noise survey work. It sets out the full range of assessment, monitoring and consultancy services we deliver and helps point you at the page most relevant to your question.
Which service is right for me?+
If you need a full workplace noise survey, use Workplace Noise Surveys. If you have a specific question about action values, use Noise Action Values. If you need dosimetry, see Personal Noise Dosimetry. If your question is about boundary or environmental impact, see Environmental Noise Surveys or BS 4142 Noise Surveys.
Are these services delivered to UK regulatory expectations?+
Yes. Occupational work is delivered under the Control of Noise at Work Regulations 2005 with measurement aligned to BS EN ISO 9612. Environmental work uses BS 4142, BS 8233 and planning frameworks as appropriate.
Can multiple services be combined?+
Yes — and they often are. A typical engagement might combine a full workplace noise survey, dosimetry for mobile workers, machinery noise measurements for a specific cell and a hearing protection adequacy review. We scope the combined work as a single piece.
Do you cover the whole of the UK?+
Yes. We operate across the UK, supporting single-site, multi-site and group organisations.
How do I commission work?+
Use the contact page to discuss scope, or call the office directly. We confirm scope and approach before quoting, and explain method and outputs explicitly so there are no surprises.
